What Is Vedic Meditation?

Supported by scientific research and based on an ancient body of knowledge, Vedic Meditation is a powerful yet simple mental technique which absolutely anyone can learn. Through the use of a personalised mantra to draw the mind naturally inward one goes beyond thinking into a state of ‘being’ or stillness.

It is perfect for the demands of our busy modern lives as it de-excites our nervous system and enables us to achieve a deep state of rest dissolving accumulated stress, tension and fatigue.

Experiencing this state on a regular basis, meditators quickly become happier, more present and aware, less reactive, calmer, more adaptable, more creative, more productive, and have increased energy and vibrant health.

The Technique

This effortless technique can be practised anywhere you can sit comfortably with your back supported and eyes closed (even with noisey surroundings) which makes it easily integrated into daily modern life. There is no concentrating, forcing or chanting and thoughts are a natural part of the process.

By practising this transcendent technique for 20 mins twice a day, you’ll achieve an extraordinarily deep state of rest ( several times deeper than sleep) which has profound effects on the mind and body complex providing enormous long term benefits to a person’s wellbeing.

With the correct instruction, you will be on your way to a clear state of mind, increased creativity and productivity and a happier more stabilised state of being.
